Prana Flow Transdermal Cream

Enhances the Pranic Coordination between Mind and Body for Deep Meditation by clearing the Nadis – Pathways of Your Cosmic Self

SV Ayurveda places great emphasis on the health of the channels, both the srotas (physical channels) and the nadis (vibrational channels).  The nadis support all the physical organs and systems – including the physical channels - by delivering prana (life energy) to them as well as to the mind and senses. When pranic flow is optimal we experience a state of inner fulfillment and freedom from dis-ease.

However, in today's world our vibrational channels get disturbed and corrupted by stress, unhealthy lifestyles, bad or wrong food choices (such as nightshades), electromagnetic radiation, and a host of other factors. These factors either narrow the nadis or corrupt their intelligence in such a way that prana is less available to us.

Insufficient flow of prana means less vitality and disease resistance on the physical level, diminished mental calmness and intelligence, weakened resistance to stress, and less joy and contentment on the emotional level, amongst other things.

Prana Flow Supports the Nadis for Deeper Meditation

Any yogic practice (prayer, meditation, contemplation, etc) is a spiritual-mental activity, but ayurveda reminds us that the body is also very much involved in this process.  In reality, the mind and body cannot be separated.  They are like the legs of a table.  Pull one leg and the other 3 come along.  In fact, this is the very means that many meditation techniques adopt to affect the body.  By settling the mind, they slow the breath and heart rate and enhance brain wave coherence.

But it works both ways. Mental relaxation and deeper spiritual experiences can be supported through physical means as well.  For example, hatha yoga is one such physical method to enhance mind/body/spirit coordination, which is essential to get optimal benefits from any spiritual practice. This is because if the body is ill at ease the mind and senses will be distracted and pulled outward.

Vaidya Mishra added to this equation through his ayurvedic wisdom: he taught us that  pranic flow is also a key factor in improving mind/body/spirit coordination. This is because prana is the bridge between the mind and the Gem - the “Light of the Soul” or the aura of the soul seated in the vibrational heart lotus in the middle of our chest. You can learn more about this in Vaidya Mishra’s Samadhi Marma course here. How is “Prana Flow” involved in this? It supports the flow of prana in the nadis, by enhancing their ability to receive and distribute prana, and empowers them to resist corruption through EMF or “synthetic prana.”  Prana Flow also helps evacuate and release used prana, so that the nadis can receive and distribute even more fresh pranic energy. The result is that you settle more quickly into meditation/yogic practice, and receive more benefits.

The Samadhi Set

Prana Flow Transdermal Cream is one of four individual products in Vaidya Mishra’s Samadhi Set.  The Samadhi Set consists of four transdermal creams (or transdermal roll-ons) that work in concert to take your yogic practice to a much deeper level.  This set includes Arjuna (or Ashoka); Brahmi, Tulsi; and Prana Flow.  Prana Flow can be purchased and used individually but works best in concert with the other products in the set.

This formula is also available as Prana Flow Roll-on.  The roll-on version is non-sticky and offers faster delivery - but less sustained action – than this cream.

Ingredients

‘Total Prana Flow ’ (Vaidya Mishra’s proprietary herbal blend) with Prasarini (Paederia foetida), Parijat (Nyctanthes arbor-tristis ), Nirgundi (Vitex Nigundo), Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora), Tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), Guggul (Commiphora mukul), Laksha (Laccifer Lacca), Sensitive plant (Mimosa pudica), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Chili pepper (Capsicum annuum), Peppermint (Mentha piperita), and Spearmint (Mentha spicata) in a base of Organic shea butter (Vitellaria paradoxa), Vegetable glycerine, Beeswax (Cera alba), and Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis)

Size

Choose 0.5 oz or 2 oz

Directions

Before meditation/yogic practice, apply Prana Flow directly on your cervical area - neck from base of head to shoulders on each side and the middle. If this is too strong for you, you can apply directly or apply on your hands and fingertips and swipe down your lower spine 7 – 14 times.  Always swipe downward (not back and forth) toward your coccyx (tail bone). You can also do both: apply on cervical and lower back for more benefit. You can also apply this roll-on on your fingertips and rub back and forth a few times along your radial artery below each wrist.  Do one radial artery and then lightly hold the area with three fingers 15 – 30 seconds. Repeat on the other radial artery. For best results, use below the wrists and on the lower spine. Prana Flow may also be used prior to any yogic practice to facilitate greater mind/body/spirit coordination.

Precautions

As with all herbs, if you have any concerns or questions, please consult your physician before using. Cream may cause oil spots on clothing
