Triphala combines three fruits, amla, haritaki and bibhitaki, to provide a balanced detoxification that also reestablishes the intelligence of the channels of elimination. Triphala (sold separately) is an important Ayurvedic formulation, but is somewhat heating, and is not always recommended for people with high pitta. This formula adds rose and fennel to balance the heating quality of triphala.
