The scalp is one of the most important reception points for prana in the body--if not the most important reception point--because the adhipati marma, at the crown of the head, is located there. For this reason, it is very important not to place toxic substances on the scalp. Paraben is a chemical preservative used in many conditioners and is a known carcinogen. Sodium Laurel Sulfate is a very common foaming agent in conditioners, shampoos, soaps, liquid soaps, detergents, and toothpastes, and is also a known carcinogen.
Why would you want to place such toxic chemicals directly on the adhipati marma? They will be absorbed readily by the system. This same logic applies for hair dies, bleaches and other chemicals placed on the scalp.
Vaidya Mishra's Herbal Conditioner does not contain any harsh chemicals or chemical aromas, which are toxic to the body. It was a small miracle that Vaidya Mishra was able to preserve the natural, herbal ingredients in a water base without chemicals. The benefit is that you now have a rare opportunity to enjoy a conditioner without harsh chemicals.
Even the aromas that Vaidya Mishra uses in his formula are 100% natural, plant extracts, free of harsh chemicals. He does not use aromas that were extracted in alcohol or hexane or benzene. His aromas are extracted from plants using water and gentle steam techniques. The yield is less, but the prana and subtle essence of the plant's intelligence prabhava is not lost in the process. This is why his conditioner seems to be alive: full of beautiful, rich aromas, and the living essences of the herbs it carries.
Not only is Vaidya Mishra's herbal conditioner safe and free of all toxic chemicals, it is also specifically designed to nourish the hair and scalp.
Using traditional Ayurvedic formulas based in the deep knowledge of the ancient texts, Vaidya Mishra has created modern hair care products which truly bridge the span of time. Vaidya Mishra comes from a 5,000 year old family tradition of Ayurvedic practitioners who are known for their unwillingness to take shortcuts with the ancient formulas. The herbs used not only help the scalp and hair individually, but work together to create a balanced effect.
Bringa Raj, or eclipta alba, is an important ingredient in Vaidya Mishra's herbal conditioner. It has been used in hair care formulas for millennia because it nourishes the hair and helps as kesharanjanah to maintain the color of the hair. According to Bhava Mishra, one of the ancient Ayurvedic texts, bhumi amalaki is kesharajo, "king of hair herbs." It is also described as kapha shopha vishaghnascha, pacifying sleshaka kapha and cleaning amavisha, toxins, from the skin and scalp. Reeta, or soap pod, is a natural foaming agent, which allows this conditioner to clean and moisturize without using carcinogenic chemicals such as Sodium Laurel Sulfate, or any of the many other chemicals which are commonly used as a substitute for Sodium Laurel Sulfate. It has been used as a hair cleaning agent in ancient ayurvedic villages for a long time before shampoo and conditioner came into use in the modern world.
The conditioner also contains harsingaar, Coral Jasmine, seed paste, which helps prevent hair fall. It has haritaki, or terminalia chebula, to coordinate the functioning of dhi, driti and smriti, the intellect's capacity to gather (dhi), store (driti) and recollect (smriti) information. According to the Sushrut Ayurvedic text, it is sothkusthanut, antihistamine for the skin and scalp. It also contains ashti shrinkala, or cissus quadrangularis Linn., which is ashti sandhan janani the mother of bone unification.
Jati Phal, nutmeg, is vishapakahara, which means that it helps eliminate amavisha, reactive toxins resulting from poor digestion and metabolism. Ajavon, or yavani, also known as ajwain is vishaghna, removes both amavisha, internally generated toxins and garvisha, external poisons or xenobiotics. Ajavon is also jantughna, bactericidal, shothahar, anti-inflammatory, and twagdoshahar, cleaning the scalp and skin.
Daru Haldi or Daru Haridra is Indian Burberry or Tree Turmeric. The Dhanvantari Nigantu text says, "rujam kandum cha nashyate," which means that it takes care of itching and itchy pain on the scalp and skin. It is also described as sleshma visha vikarnu, cleaning the channels of the scalp and the skin and removing the visha, toxins, and amavisha, internally generated toxins. Bhava Mishra, in his famous text on Ayurveda, says that is chhedanama brandushhrit, cleaning the channels by removing deposited toxins from scars.
Japa, Indian Hibiscus, is said to be keshya, nourishing and promoting long life to hair, according to Bhava Mishra. Bhumi Amalaki, or phyllantus niruri, is described as hima, cooling, and also pittanshrakaphna and pandu paha, pitta pacifying. It is also vishapaka, removing amavisha particularly from the liver, which is a very important organ for the hair.
Not only is it important to nourish and cleanse the scalp, hair follicles and hair with herb-rich, chemical-free conditioner. It is also important to take care of the hair from inside the body as well. First and foremost, this means good diet and routine, and stress reduction are key to hair health. When pH is low in the body, the high acidity eats the hair follicles. The best way to raise your body's pH is to follow Vaidya Mishra's tips for diet as medicine and to get to bed early on a regular basis. You also need to care for your liver, because when it is toxic and acidic, the blood becomes acidic too, ultimately damaging the hair follicles.
Vaidya Mishra has also formulated a Lustrous Hair capsule with herbs to support health hair and scalp. It includes Bringaraj, which is an ingredient in the shampoo and conditioner, is one of the best herbs for detoxifying the liver and making it more intelligent. Bhumi Amala is also great for making the liver more intelligent. To find out how to gradually strengthen and purify the liver without causing harm to the body in this delicate process, see one of Vaidya Mishra's practitioners in your area or call for a phone appointment with Vaidya Mishra today. We cannot make broad recommendations for herbs for everyone because each person has to be examined specifically. When all the factors are considered in your particular case, then a treatment protocol can be adopted which is maximally safe and effective for you.
Hair is a mala, waste product, of ashti dhatu, bone tissue when it is transformed into majja dhatu, bone marrow. For this reason, care for the bone and bone marrow is important to maintain healthy, lustrous hair. Vaidya Mishra's coral calcium and coral calcium nectar drops are an easy way to support healthy bones and bone marrow so that your hair looks naturally beautiful.

Start by warming the hair oil (luke warm - not too hot). Apply thoroughly on the scalp. Leave on for about 20 minutes before removing with the shampoo when you shower. Then use Vaidya Mishra's conditioner as an optional treatment for the hair.
The short term benefits of using this conditioner is that you will feel instantly refreshed and nourished, and find a new richness in body of your hair. If you continue to use this conditioner regularly, you will deeply nourish the hair and the hair follicles, and you will detoxify the follicles so that your hair always looks beautiful.

My hairdresser can't believe how healthy my hair is and how good it feels when she cuts it. She said she has never felt any hair that feels as soft and silky as mine. I told her it was thanks to Vaidya's shampoo and conditioner that is made rich with herbs and without any harsh chemicals.
