Do you need more spice in your diet? Maybe you love Mum's Masala, but need a bit more spice.
We've now createed a new version of Mum's Masala with green chili. This version with chilis is great for those who have sluggish digestion and too much soma in the body. It is not recommended for people with pitta constitutions or with amavisha (reactive toxins) in the body.
This spice mix is not for those whose have high pitta, or lots of amavisha (reactive toxins) in the body. It is meant to give support to those who have trouble keeping the digestive fire alive, and who have a slow metabolic rate in general.
Coriander, Cumin, Turmeric, Black pepper, Pink pepper, White pepper, Curry leaf, Fenugreek, Fennel, Cinnamon, Cinnamon bark (Indian), Green cardamom, Ayurvedic ginger, Chili, Clove, Soma salt, Mango turmeric, Mace, Cobra saffron, Black cardamom, Ajwain, Kalunji
Choose between 6 oz. and 2 oz. (loose, ground spices)
Use this spice mix in cooking any savory dish.
This masala has been pre-toasted so it may be used to sprinkle on top of ready-made foods, including salads, sandwiches and soups. It may also be used as a regular masala for cooking.
Use under the guidance of a Shaka Vansya Ayurveda practitioner. As with all herbs, please consult with your physician before using.
Do not use if you have very high metabolism (high pitta/ high agni). Use Vaidya Mishra's Pitta Masala instead.
