This tasty soup mix, based on ancient Ayurvedic recipes, provides daily support for the specific needs of women. The energies of these herbs improve physical stamina, mental sharpness and emotional bliss, and help keep the hormones in balance for women. The prabhavas (special qualities) of these herbs are: vringhana (enhancing all seven dhatus, or tissues), vrishya and shukrala (increasing the quality and quantity of shukra dhatu reproductive tissue). It is not vajikarana (pro-aphrodesiac).

Add 1/2 to 1 tsp per serving to soups, dals or vegetables. Toast lightly in ghee before using for best results. Great for dishes with ratalu. Ratalu is a special kind of potato-like tuber available in Indian grocery stores. It has many of the same vringhana, vrishya and sukrala qualities that this spice mix contains.
