Green Cardamom (suksmopakunjika in Sanskrit) is described by Bhava Prakash to be katuka (pungent), shite (cooling), laghu (light), kaphahrit (reducing kapha) vatahare (balancing vata), kasahrit (helping chronic cough).

Directions

Add one cardamom pod to your one or two liters of herbal tea mixuture given to you by your Shaka Vansya Ayurveda practitioner and sip throughout the day.
