Cloves (lavangam in Sanskrit) are described by the Raj Nigantu text as soshnakam (gently warming and channel opening), shitalam (cooling), tiktam (bitter), vipake maduram himam (sweet, cooling effect after digestion).

Directions

Add one clove to your one or two liters of herbal tea mixuture given to you by your Shaka Vansya Ayurveda practitioner and sip throughout the day.
